black blind posted a new comment: I’ve encountered the same issue with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS—whenever I try to take a screenshot, the screen just goes black, and the output is also black. Also, if you change the resolution using cvt, the coordinates end up being off, and you need to use xdotool mousemove to fix them.
