Public bug reported: Hello Launchpad Team,
I’ve encountered an issue while trying to download a project dependency for my personal project https://trafficriderr.net via a public Launchpad-hosted link. The request either times out or returns an incomplete response (connection dropped midway). I tested across multiple devices and networks — same behavior. It appears the problem is linked to the CDN or caching mechanism on Launchpad's end. Steps to Reproduce: Visit the affected resource link (example: https://launchpad.net/[project-name]/[version]/+download/[file]). Attempt to download the file. Observe the failure: download hangs or abruptly stops. On Chrome DevTools > Network tab, a net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET or ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE may occur. Expected Result: The file should download fully without interruption. Actual Result: File download fails due to connection drop or timeouts. Tested On: Chrome, Firefox (latest versions) Ubuntu 22.04, Windows 10 ISPs: PTCL & Nayatel Temporary Workaround: Currently, I’m using a third-party mirror to host the backup file on my site https://trafficriderr.net for users to access without interruption — but this is not a permanent solution. Suggested Fix: Please check the hosting/CDN or server configuration for stalled downloads or timeout rules for large/binary files. Let me know if you need HAR logs or terminal output for further debugging. Thanks in advance! ** Affects: sikuli Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Sikuli Drivers, which is subscribed to SikuliX. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2110580 Title: Unexpected Resource Timeout or Download Failure on Project Resource Page Status in SikuliX: New Bug description: Hello Launchpad Team, I’ve encountered an issue while trying to download a project dependency for my personal project https://trafficriderr.net via a public Launchpad-hosted link.
