Hey Bradley In the Ruby/Rails arena, there's Rails Camps which happen about twice a year now - the fourth is happening in a month near Adelaide, and the fifth should be in the second quarter of next year near Brisbane. They've also kinda spread overseas. http://railscamps.com
I don't know of any more generic unconferences (well, beyond the standard BarCamps, and I must admit I've never made it to the Melbourne one).
