Hi everyone, Just to put a bit more of a focus on next steps, my proposal is we make this an activity at the Sydney startup camp in January, with other cities joining in. Ash from Brisbane has offered to run SE Queensland - would be great to get other teams in other cities collaborating with the Sydney and Brisbane team.
A wiki will be available where the work will be done so anyone can join in. the teams between the cities will be hooked up by Skype or some other conference facility to make decisions. Once an editorial decision is made, functions will be split out and tasks allocated by that end of that Friday night. We worked alongside the other participants at startup camp, and make a decision on what we end up releasing by the end of the weekend. Creating this book is just as much a startup as it is creating a AJAX web app. So keep the ideas coming - but I thought since I proposed it I give an answer now that people clearly support the idea.
