Hello all. A question that I have been thinking of for some time that I might put up in SiliconBeach for people people to consider.
People here should know by now that I am putting together a proof-of-concept of an idea I have had for about 5 years. I am considering periodically releasing versions of my application (Agent Device and Clique Space administration Client Device) somewhere on the internet so people can have a play with it and get back to me on what they think of my idea. My code is proprietary (for the moment), and, if I make no explicit declarations, I assume that I am covered under some international common law copyright provisions. As the concept should be adequately covered by my PCT, I am assuming that no one can become inspired after having a go of my application to do something substantially similar... Am I correct with all of my assumptions? Where might I stand legally if I were to periodically release executable versions (JVM bytecode) of my evolving PoC?
