This is interesting Dean, especially your point of "I don't believe there is anyone in Australia who can teach you this".
I had one guy who sit on my advisory chair said the same thing just about 2 weeks ago. In one of our discussion, I remember vividly he said, "the truth is, I haven't found anyone in Australia that has the understanding on how to build a true world-class startups". He used to be in US and went through the full-cycle of company building (include raising money etc). That truly makes me curious of the experience / skill / understanding that people have over there. Maybe I should pay a visit.
