I'm hesitant to say a ton, but there are several I can name of the top of my head who are investing or are looking to invest. Alex Sparkes and David Kowalski of Country Cars.com.au (http://www.ipitch.com.au/ profile/green-lane-digital), Mike Cannon Brookes has expressed interest in investing in some Aussie startups at Innovation Bay dinners, Andrew Barlow from Hitwise invests in TradeSlot and Qmcodes, Marc Lehmann of Sassu (http://www.ipitch.com.au/profile/saasu-com) is actively looking to partner or incubate complimentary startups...
I'm not saying there's a ton, but the number is growing. I think that is always the funny thing though is that we do often get big Aussie VCs judging these pitching competition, but most of the time they would ever invest in the types of companies they are judging. That said I know companies who have received investment post Tech 23 and MEGA.
