Hello everyone,

this idea started from my personal need to get together a legal doc
kit for our startup, but I think that there is a larger problem that
needs to be solved.

We need to put together an early stage startup and seed funding
document kit that is relevant to Australian startups. This doesn't
mean you won't need a lawyer, but it does mean that it will lower the
fees you need to pay and give you an idea of what you need to focus on
(in legal terms). I reached out to a few usual suspects from this list
and obtained some of the basic documents like consulting and
employment agreements, IP assignment deed, mutual NDA, etc. There are
still a bunch of different documents that are missing and I need some
guidance around what a useful kit needs to contain.

I'm by no means a legal expert and I'm learning as I go, so all kinds
of help would be appreciated. If you guys are interested in helping
out with putting this together and making it freely available to the
Australian startup community, please let me know.

Thanks,
 Marko

P.S. I know that there were a few discussions of this kind on this
list previously, but none of them really produced any results. I hope
that the startup community has grown and matured enough to tackle this
issue. If you share (or not) my belief, please jump into the
discussion.
