Hi Roger

More important than what your site does is who your customers are and
what their values are. Are you targetting everyone or a niche?

Take Etsy for example; the name has nothing to do with anything
really, but it sounds kinda hand made, which their customers relate to
as they're in the practice of making stuff by hand. Similarly Flickr,
which is vaguely related to photography, is actually about the
experiential effect of taking a photograph, it's the sound the camera
makes when you capture that perfect moment in time on film. They've
hooked in to the event which makes photographers passionate about what
they do. YouTube, seems obvious, but they've hooked in to our innate
narcissism, and the ability the internet has to the give everyone
their 15 minutes of fame.

In terms of bookmarking stuff online, what's your customer's
motivation for doing so? What passion triggers the need to use your
service?

I recommend starting with anything but allowing yourself to change the
name when you've found something perfect. Best brand names are two
syllables long and have unique spelling, and can take a couple of
years to get right.
