We are also in progress on a CA application, except seeking later stage
commercialisation stage funding

As it stands today less than 1% of CA applications have been funded. Also
relatively few of the approved grants have been in software.

There is definitely an art and a process to following when going for CA -
remember CA is for Commercialisation (not R&D or Export Market Development).

>From the advice i have given what they are looking to hear is

- Your market is global and is big
- Your business creates value for Australia (export revenue, local jobs,
local specialist knowledge, contribution to the community)
- All your technology and R&D is all completed and you have a working
product
- You have written interest from potential customers who will trial and
implement your solution (may or may not pay)
- You have written interest from investors that would fund you if you had
signed customers
- The key piece that is missing is some funding to run your trials and
COMMERCIALISE the company so that larger investors will fund you

If this story applies to your company in some way you will have a higher
chance of success. This is apparently what they are looking for as a story.

If you can get emails from potential customers and potential investors
(especially overseas) to support your story you will have a much higher
change.

Hope this is useful
