Hi, taking the opportunity to introduce myself. I am a long standing entrepreneur having been through 6 start-ups (either as a founder or employee) in the last 12 years, with a background from strategy consulting, corporate finance and systems development before that. My main focus is in the wireless space, and I write about it regularly on www.jtklepp.com. I have also taught entrepreneurship at the Norwegian School of Economis as a guest lecturer a few times, and hope to get involved with Silicon Beach especially on the meet-ups/events around Sydney.
I am reaching out as I have a venture which I have laid all the ground work for the past 18 months, which I actually do not intend to be involved in day-to-day myself as I am involved with another wireless start-up, but this is a solid business with a lot of work put behind it, and it is ready to go into the market place. I am looking for a business partner for launching an exciting Applicant Tracking Software company that specializes in helping retailers and other companies with a high turnover employee base effectively manage their hiring. All the hard work has been done (exclusive licensing deal for Australia has been signed, the platform has been translated and adapted to the market, and is ready for launch in a matter of weeks). The platform has been proven to cut time spent on hiring staff by up to 70%, and providing cost savings of $3000 or more per hire. I am looking for (an) entrepreneurial minded people (person) who wants to spend part of their time launching this exciting business in Australia, and taking part of a profit sharing scheme and equity participation that pays out handsomely over time, and as long as you stay involved, will keep on paying. The intent is to build up a run rate in the business until hiring of full time people can take place, upon which you can still be involved (or even brought on board full time). You are probably a self-employed consultant, possibly a recruiter, and have some time over to do projects outside you main line of business. You have an instinct for closing the deal, and you understand well the benefits of using electronic tools to manage the hiring process. I am looking for people anywhere in Australia.
