We now have a jobs service on the Silicon Beach website ( http://siliconbeachaustralia.org/jobs), that is as free as the air to use.
We've been road-testing it and we like it -- we hope you do to. Any feedback is welcome and we will evolve this over time. I've refreshed the database for a mostly clean start, so we will be relying on community feedback and usage to build out the ontologies (but hopefully not much else is needed to make this ready to use). Its built on Wordpress MU for the specific reason that this will be a platform to enable us to build out the site further. Three things I'm eyeing on next include Buddypress (for link sharing), a Q&A service (so we can better curate knowledge from this mailing list and reduce its volume), and Google account integrations (to integrate it with the forum). Other things I am thinking about is a brand refresh on the logo which is now being used more and is time for something smarter, as well doing something useful other than a redirect with the siliconbeach.org domain (which I opportunistically negotiated to buy only in this last year). A huge thanks to Victor Tsen from Perth who did some great tweaks on the software. I also want to thank Alexander Levashov, Andrew Dowling, Khee Seng's and Matthew Ho for their comments during the testing.
