It's getting better.

Stuart, Darcy and Adrian are doing a great job with Adventure Capital
and the Aurealias digital dinners. Dom Carosa just closed an
additional $5m for his fund, and [pardon the plug] we just announced
Angelcube earlier this week

which we're really excited about!

Personally I don't think it's worth approaching Melbourne Angels for
early-stage startups as they're not (currently) known for supporting
the early stage community. I'd be happy to be proved otherwise though
if there's a Melbourne Angel member out there.
