Hi Chris, We're building a toolkit of social payment tools starting with the twitter based tool. Some similarities to venmo but yes not SMS based. I won't be in town for the next bank 2.0 meetup unfortunetly but Michelle will be and she's leading the project. Either grab Michelle there or grab me on skype/phone if you you'd like a rundown.
