Hi,

Not strictly entrepreneurial but code war is on again next friday. This is a fun event where teams of 5 pity their coding under pressure skills in knockout rounds.

Details at http://codewarpyconau.eventbrite.com/. Location TBA.

This is going to be run in association with pycon-au which is also next weekend. For those building apps on python, this might be a good place to network and find those sort after experienced django developers.
Tickets sales close very soon I believe

Subject: codeSmash Social Programing Event
To: Steve Dalton <[email protected]>

Hi Steve,

Hope all is going well.

I've spent the last three months in Silicon Valley and Stanford, and have just come back to Australia recently. Since arriving I've started organising an event called codeSmash. This is an exciting event for Brisbane, especially after the tremendous success we had with running the SVI Hackspace at Stanford University (which received a lot of publicity, including featuring on Engadget). With codeSmash, we aim to make south-east Queensland a more entrepreneurial and innovative hub for development in Australia by bringing together like-minded people in a social, casual, collaborative environment.

QUT are providing the space and sponsorship for catering, and we have a number of promotional partnerships with other institutions around Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

I've included more details to the bottom of this email, and we'd greatly appreciate if you could forward it to Barcamp members as we're sure they'd be interested.

Thanks,
Robert
