One of the interesting (and fun) tasks for any Web 2.0 technopreneur
is discovering what makes a P2P site sticky/viral/intimate. When
twiiter first came out, many VCs couldn't see what (appeared to them)
a paging service could do. But now it seems to occupy the ambient
intimacy space. Whilst somewhat tongue-in-cheek this diagram shows how
user-generated content relies on powerful psychogenic needs (though
I'd label it compulsion instead of stalking).
