Hi SB, I'm doing some market research for a new product being prototyped. The solution aims to provide a turn-key subscription system for online media websites, but with a number of unique elements. It strives for a dead simple execution with minimal barriers to entry for both the publisher and consumer.
The solution is designed to maximise conversion to paid subscriptions and return on the existing readership, without negatively impacting readership growth. This is obviously a tough nut to crack as the internet is littered with failed attempts to provide a solid revenue base for online media. However, I believe a well designed and executed solution for publishers does exist and is worth chasing. I'm interested in chatting to: 1. Existing website publishers open to new approaches to monetising their site 2. Individuals with experience and networks in online media to provide feedback and join the conversation I am putting together a survey for existing website publishers to complete and will eventually be looking for some to run a pilot with. At this stage however, I'm focussed more on product validation through market research and discussion with as many industry players as possible. Anyone out there interested in having a chat?
