Back in 2003-2004 when Sydney was suffering from a Water Crisis I put forward my plans to the Sydney Water Authority and the Environmental sector for Solar Desalination. At that time, the Government had been unable to introduce desalination into Australia because of the environmental backlash. As doing desalination with fossil fuels is extremely polluting. To cut a long story short, my submissions were taken and the end result is that I gave them (the government) the business case for renewable power for desalination which has now come to pass. Check the Kurnell Desalination plant. I'm not recognised officially for my work. Coincidently nobody in any of those departments can actually identify who came up with the ideas's either. Although bonuses were collected by senior managers - of course. The Sydney Desalination plant is powered by an energy credit scheme, from energy generated from the Wind farms at Lake George. No need for burning waste.
