Hi All, Apologies for the off-topicness but hopefully someone might have some pointers for me.
Along the lines of http://www.code.org and https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=nKIu9yen5nc , would anyone have any pointers towards where young kids in Sydney (or online) could start to get involved/learn general coding basics (age appropriate)? These days there are language classes, math, etc. all available for kids..I'm hoping there is something out there that might equip kids with more computer related skills than just being able to press "Like" on FB when they get older. My six year old is already a seventh dan Super Mario Kart racer on the 3DSXL, killing it on Skylanders (XBOX) and now starting to talk about how he is going to beat Big Blue in Chess soon (lets just start with beating Dad first)... I'm thinking it's time I started making him use his Jedi powers for good in a more constructive manner. Any help is greatly appreciated.
