Hi, If you're interested in mashing up open government data for prize money, it's worth checking out GovHack 2013 - the biggest competition of its type in Australia.
This year the event is national, with eight locations around the country and a number of state and local governments, as well as the federal government, opening up data for the event. They are specially targeting entrepreneurs and places are filling up fast. For more details or to enter, see: http://www.govhack.org/2013/05/03/govhack-2013-a-national-approach-for-inspiring-government/ Cheers, Craig (I'm not an organiser, but I support them because this is a great approach to make governments realise they need to make more of their data freely available in reusable formats, by having developers show them how useful data can be!) -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Silicon Beach Australia mailing list.
