Hi folks I'm an experienced software developer, currently looking for contract work - preferably either short term or part time. (3 days / week is ideal)
I've worked as a tech lead for some major companies over the years (Adobe, Accenture, Verizon Wireless, Morgan Stanley), and shipped some pretty large projects (www.tab.com.au was my most recent public-facing project). Currently, I'm working on my own startup - joose.com.au - which is a social / wagering platform for Australian bookmakers. I'm seeking contract work to pay some bills while I keep chugging away on the startup. Tech wise - I'm a full stack guy, so I can code your both your server, and your HTML5 apps. (But, I don't do native mobile apps). I write in Java on the back end, and have been using AngularJS on the front end lately, and loving it. I'm also very experienced with Adobe Flex. I'm based in Sydney, but am pretty used to remote work. I'd love to hear from people about contracts and projects to work on.
