I wouldn't be too surprised by the results; I struggle to think of any sort of user who would go through such a tour. If users come to your site wanting to achieve a particular goal, it's just another thing standing in their way to that goal. If users come just to be entertained, a feature tour is not very promising either. The latest xkcd may also be relevant: http://xkcd.com/1264/ Do you have measurements on how the tour affects conversions (or whatever you're after)? That's probably a much more important question than whether people go through it or not...
