with all the capital "platforms" out there (starting with angel list) it is hard to find proprietary dealflow unless you bring in the oddball darknet genius in Eastern Europe so pretending to solve one problem (access to capital) whilst ignoring the selection/grooming of awesomeness is IMHO putting the cart before the horse.
