Hi Bruce.

In Goa, the cruise terminal is in Marmagoa / Mormugao, and while it's not
far from the capital, Panjim, as the seagull flies, it's a long way around
by road, about 25 kilometres if memory serves. And the taxis can be
extortionate. But if you like old churches and things like that, worth
going there. Most beaches aren't really wheelchair accessible,
unfortunately, or I would have suggested a wander into South Goa, now that
Season, with the capital S, is almost done and those spots aren't
crowded. Lots of great eating places everywhere, and I can dig out a
recommendation for you if you like, but if you eat fish, it's best to just
stop at unpretentious quiet places and eat a thali (which is a set meal,
small portions of a variety of things).

In Bombay, the cruise ships dock on the east coast, very close to the
southern part of the city. Since you're only in my city overnight, there's
unlikely to be enough time to see much. But if you could let me know what
you like to eat, I could make a recommendation, and if you're not averse to
the company of a stranger on a list, maybe join you. (I've been unwell for
a bit, so I can't make a legally-binding promise, but I'd certainly like to
try )
