Hey Silk friends, I’ve been lurking on this list for 8+ years, and while I love the ease of online conversation, I have a strong bias toward in-person hangouts where things meander, spark, and surprise in all the best ways.
I recently moved to Bangalore and I’m loving it so far (minus the traffic, plus the filter coffee, the jasmine flowers scenting the evening air, and how time stretches differently under a tree in Cubbon Park). I’d love to meet up with fellow Silk minds in the city, perhaps a walk or picnic in Cubbon, or a potluck at someone’s place (though we’re still settling in, so I can’t host just yet). Perhaps Sunday, May 25th? Anyone else up for something? I’m especially into conversations that go off-road: systems thinking, myth, mushrooms, poetry, relationships - anything with texture and soul.
