I mean previous silk meets have not lasted long before someone puts on some
music, breaks out a guitar, tells stories about ultra marathoning in deserts
and so on and forth. Spoken word and rap is a more the merrier thing

Subject: [Silk] Bangalore Meet up + Living Room Gigs

This thread has emerged from a WhatsApp conversation I had with Udhay.

I live in Dublin. I'll be in Bangalore / Mysore for three months from July.

I was curious if Silksters in Bangalore (also possibly NCR / Hyderabad /
Chennai) are open to meeting up socially and experiencing living room gigs.

Just like a regular meet up, with intimate, no fanfare, chill live
entertainment.

I'm open to performing (story telling / rap / spoken word) and Udhay is also in
a band.

Three questions:

(a) Does this seem like like time well spent for you?

(b) Do you have suggestions for living rooms / similar spaces where this idea
can be brought to life?

(c) Anyone else keen on performing / expressing themselves? I'm sure there's
plenty! :)

Hari
