Lets be fair here ... No amount or mortality stats will make people start
doing/liking a particularly dangerous activity (us Bungee jumpers aside).

Motorcycle accidents in India aren't rare ... However, given the number of
2-wheelers on the roads, the number of _fatal_ accidents is a very low
percentage. Compare this to countries where 1000+ cc engines abound ...
Where even the smallest accident leads to multiple fractures and often
death.

The idea is simple ... In India, if you encounter a pothole on a bike, base
case scenario is a torn pant/saree.
Places where 1000cc bikes are the norm ... Base case is multiple fracture
and veggie-state.
