I listened to the podcast of the latest edition of the radio show This American Life yesterday. The episode, titled 'The Giant Pool of Money', is among the best explanations of the financial crisis I have come across. The show is about 50 minutes long and includes interviews with people along the entire chain. It is fascinating hearing from the horse's mouth about what motivated people to think and do what they did.
