i haven't had the need to do that, since with the couple of exceptions i noted, places that allow https (let alone http) allow ssh over port 80. i have, however, used ptunnel (tcp/ip over icmp - ptunnel is the name of the package) successfully in a few places. usually, it's when you need some authentication to access anything but for some odd reason pinging anything is not blocked. -r
