On the silklist, FWIW, I like to think I am a usenet old timer, and I have almost no problems with reading top posting that's well done. I switch my sending styles based on context. General rule of thumb: when I am debating or calling out only certain portions of an email, or when each point deserves a direct response I will bottom post. OTOH, sometimes it just makes sense to top post - like in a business email thread where there's almost no debate, there's just questions & responses. Most silk emails are in the former context and therefore bottom posting makes sense, but I am not religious about it. I think this thread has grown long enough and has become quite boring, let's stop. Cheeni
