There is often the matter of someone/some event feeding subtle "stories" to the reporters. A story without having to search for it....with all the "facts" provided....too good to pass up. It arrives in your email.... a ready-made news snippet.... Recently, "Easy Auto" in Bangalore http://www.easyauto.in/ did exactly this.It's an initiative by people who seem very opaque indeed...for the people-friendly facility that it's supposed to be. I had written about the way the initiative folded the first time, but dropped the idea of writing about its phoenixing when I found I couldn't contact the entrepreneurs.... Deepa.
