Ayn Rand ... I no longer find her books difficult to read because I don't touch them in the first place.
Faulkner, "Scarlet Letter", "Moby Dick", "War and Peace" - all digestible in the tin-of-biscuits fashion i.e. one goes back to them once in a while, doesn't try to finish them at a sitting. J.A.P.
