I don't know the detailed history, but yes, when I joined in 1992 at
Thomas Olapally's place, Kuruvilla and Casper were active members.
After I started moderating it (perhaps from 1997) and Casper started
talking about "copyright" for IntelliSuite (as it was called then), I
renamed it QuizFamilies. Casper and Kuru are no longer active in the
group, but it's been going on steadily, as I take a lot of help from
other members during my frequent absences. We are very mango public in
our approach; like Samsung, everyone's welcome. I briefly also
attended Prakash Rao's quizzes in Jayanagar, but the dates didn't work
out.

I remember some occasion, long ago, where the two groups had a quiz
and a cricket match at IIM-B....I wasn't in town then.

Naresh, were Anish and Soma Gupta part of your quizzing group? Through
Dharii and Srini, I'd met a lot of people who were very warm but who
made it clear that "ne'er the twain shall meet"!

Why DON'T we? I'd love to attend your quizzes if I can.

Deepa.
