Actually the part of the Mau Plateau that was promised to the Jews was not what is covered by the modern Central Province (that was already by then becoming the White Highlands ) ... but the part of the Mau plateau that extends into Rift Valley province and Western province (think going east from Mt. Elgon - including parts of uganda and West from Nakuru .. )
