I have one problem with this statement.

AFTER being born human, by a series of completely chance events going
back several billion years what is the point in extending LIFE from say
75 to 150 years?

Why is life not a disease?

Silly, pointless quest IMO. But as Udhay always says - follow the money.
These people are trying to squeeze some money out of this - promising
eternal life and some unspecified time in the future. After all - anyone
who is 50 years today and wants to try out something new to live till
150 will have to wait 100 years to see if its a success of failure and
if he dies early he can't sue.

I tell ya..some people..
