As we all know, some life decisions are really tough to take. Are there any decision-making models/spreadsheets/advice that you've used to make a particularly wrenching decision? If you have ten days to spare a Vipassana retreat might be best. It's not just the Delhi CM who needs a "chintan bhaitak". In ten days of silence you'll really become familiar with your options. Decision models are good to explain to the world, but they rarely convince the individual. It's not a formulaic decision, your reluctance has to do with fears, vulnerabilities and genuine concerns. These don't happen in the fore brain, which is what most of the decision models will convince. Human fears and doubts arise in the pre brain, aka amygdala which meditation deals with.
