Peter: Have you ever had your serum Ferritin level measured? This is a measure of the total body tissue iron stores. There are many of us who believe that excess iron is very dangerous and oxidizes the body and may in fact be involved in MS. This is why we donate blood regularly to keep our excess iron as low as possible. See if your doctor has ever checked your ferritin level. Also, get a transferrin saturation level while you are at it and "report back"!
