Hi Maurice,

Have looked at the schematic referred to and feel it should be okay, in
fact it seems to me to be one of the circuits I was looking for. The
fact that it indicates to the user low battery voltage (Red LED) and
completed output circuit when connected via a specimen (Green LED) are a
couple of markers in its favour and precisely what I wanted - thank you.
The fact that its approved by the son of Hulda Clarke is a major factor
in its favour as he was responsible for the original one appearing in
her book, a "Cure for All Diseases".

The pcb would be a luxury as it can be constructed on some Strip Board
(known over here as SRBP - Synthetic Resin Bonded Paper) comprising a
grid of holes on a 0.1" pitch either plain or with copper strips on the
reverse side. Am sure Radio shack has something similar your side!!

Not yet but I now propose to!!

If you're not adept at this sort of thing then look for someone who is.
Suggest you look for a helpful character in your local ARRL Club, or CB
shop or try a Ham Fest for a lead if all else fails.

Hope this helps
