He claims that garlic is a poison, to EVERYTHING. Thus if you have a problem caused by a pathogen, eating garlic can and often will cure the problem by killing it. But it is also toxic to people as well, and although it may make great medicine, it will also make you sick. Apparently it really affects the nervous system, he claims that it unsyncs the two halves of the brain. Having not done any eeg's along these lines, I cannot validate that claim. He claims that in world war 2 the soldiers would rub garlic on their bullets, because the oil if it got into the blood stream directly was deadly, thus a nick could kill. Once again I have never found any validation of that statement either.
Anyway, my family stopped eating garlic and noticed that we no longer got the blahs after some dinners. My wife and I had often gotten them, especially after eating italian food, but never had put the finger on garlic as the culprit. Anyway, now that we avoid garlic, we now are much more sensitive to it, so whereas Ranch Dressing with a little garlic, or garlic bisquits from Red Lobster, which never bothered us before, makes us feel bad if we eat it.
