Hi Sharon, Everyone... I've been a way a week or more.
Just wanted to add my 2 cents to the aloe information. There is a real difference in response to aloe depending on how it is applied. I don't get any results from squeezing a little juice on and letting it go at that. I have to open a leaf, then place it on the burn (open, juicey side to burn) and tape it on. If I can remember to change the treatment fairly often...say once an hour for the first few hours (or longer, depending on the burn)...then I get excellent healing and pain-free results. I think these miraculous results may have to do with keeping the cloth soaked in aloe, so that the cloth acts like the leaf in keeping the juice juicey and on the spot. But thanks also for the Vit. E information. Good to know. Best wishes, Taylor << I'm still not sure how good the aloe worked for you all by itself. It sounds to me from what you said that it worked quite a bit but not totally. But whatever worked, it surely did seem like a miracle, no doubt! I have used aloe vera in the past for real minor burns. I keep a couple of good sized plants in the house at all times and have broken off a stem and applied it fresh like that. But I've never had it work for me at all like they say it does. Others have had great luck with it so it must be just me. I end up having to apply the "E" >> -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
