Hi, Libertytrek, Treblclef, I am planning to work with this Dr. for awhile
yet. I have bi weekly consultations with him via phone. He doesn't use
e-mail, but I call in with questions and progress reports or lack of it.
His nurse alerts him and he calls me back. There is no charge for this
service. Trouble is he is very busy, does these consultations between doing
scheduled surgical procedures. I plan to write him a letter about some of
my concerns, for instance, he would like me to use Citrucel which is his
fiber of choice. I object because of the sugar in the orange can and the
additives in the blue can. I think there is another kind now that is a
clear stuff. He is, of course, totally unacquainted with such things as
Bentonite Clay withpsyllium, etc. My son has given me a can of Fiberzon
that he recommends. It works for him and for my second son as well,
however, there is such a bewildering mixture of herbs listed that I am leery
of it. Also John says it produces an urge that you have to attend to
immediately if not sooner. I do eat a diet that consists prinicipally of
fruits and vegetables, chicken, turkey, beef , fish . There are so many
foods that react against the pain under my right ribcage (center) . or
else against the lower right corner of my abdomen, probably the ileocecal
region. What works for the one area seems to work against the other. None
of the doctors are promising that all my pain will be gone as a aresult of
this surgery, but it is hoped that if I no longer have to have sessions of
straining or else too many stools ( often require straining, too, and my
overlong bowel getting filled up and causing pressure. Think gas builds up
in there, too. Transit time is 7-8 days mouth to rectum. Ten years ago it
was 5 days. At present I will soon be 79 and will be living in my 80th year.
This surgeon is reluctant to do this surgery because of my age, and also,
presently I am underweight ., though gaining a little this week. Thanks for
your concern. I will suggest the program you have listed. Ruth
.

Can you explain how "being bound to ozone" would not be good?
I'm unfamiliar with this.

Hi Ruth,
I can only say, if it were me, I would run screaming from anyone -
Doctor or no - that would even *consider* removing 90% of my colon. I
know you said that your surgeon wanted to avoid it - which is good - so
maybe he would be willingt to work with you while you do the only
sensible thing...
Go directly to Dr Schulze's site - www.800herbdoc.com - and immediately
get on his bowel cleansing program. You start with formula #1, to get
your bowels *working*, then you slowly start on formula #2, to clean out
the gunk.
Homozon (NOT homozonE) - which is very high in magnesium, but bound to
ozone - is something I would keep on hand for emergencies - trust me,
there is no constipation that I've ever heard of that it won't relieve
straight away.
But you need to get to the source of the problem...
