As far as I'm concerned, Vitamin "O" and "Stabilized Oxygen"
are absolute bullshit terms. These say nothing and mean
nothing. If they are being used for selling a product it is
advertising hype. Judging from the information provided by
Jim Humble, the mechanism of action of these substances, if
they contain sodium chlorite, if different than what they claim.
The "MMS" name is equally bullshit, obviously calculated to
grab your attention and an attempt to label it as a mineral
supplement for FDA and FTC purposes. At least what it
contains is specifically stated and they give a plausible
method of it's action, and there is some analysis to back it
up in the second part of the book. The first part also
describes the complete issue in more general terms. The
"formula," exactly what it is, where to buy ingredients, how
to mix it up yourself is specifically given. There is no
attempt to mislead the reader about what the product is.
The author is apparently getting nothing from promoting it
other than his minimal book fee if you buy the second
section, and possibly a donation from *one* of the MMS
suppliers towards supplying it for use in African malaria
abatement. At any rate, the product is not particularly
overpriced.
The MMS may or may not work, but I personally think that Jim
Humble believes in it. If not, he is an absolute genius.
You appear to be grinding your favorite con ax. Whether it
is appropriate in this case is unknown. Certainly you could
read what is presented before engaging in gross speculations...

It would be a good thing to note the *probable* difference between
Vitamin O and MMS.
..and how non-specific the term "Stabilized Oxygen" can be.
