Simplistically speaking, the Devil is your Ego.
It is a persona, your persona... It is not really *real*
but is more like a computer program, like the "Agents" in
the movie "The Matrix." It pretends to be *you*. Listen to
it speaking in your mind (internal dialog). It is very devious.
It is not your friend.
