I am sending this email to my contacts and hope that you will do the same and send this to others and between us perhaps we can raise enough money to cover the surgery expenses, with some left over for the Rescue Centre's coffers. I knew nothing about Tamba nor the Many Tears Rescue Centre until I stumbled across a plea on the Redditch Recycling website asking for items either for the dogs or which could be sold in the Rescue Centre's shop to raise funds. Curiosity took me to their website and then on to Tamba's blog. For reasons close to my heart I turfed out eveything I could find in cupboards and drawers which I knew I could do without and which could be sold to help raise funds for them. The lady here in the Redditch area is one of the Centre's far flung supporters and she travelled down to Llanelli yesterday to take things to them and to do a few hours' voluntary work whilst there. Out of Redditch Recycling's 3,500 Yahoo members sadly I was in fact the only person to respond to the plea :-(( What's an extra Christmas present at this time of the year and one which will be very much appreciated.
