The last few days I have had a most peculiar sensation an inch or so below the
curve of skin between the right thumb and forefinger. I feel a twitch, and can
see the tissue under the skin moving. Yesterday or the day before, the whole
arm seemed ready to twitch, and the whole thing seems very delicate. Not
painful.

I have wondered about this, and remembered that I had forgotten to take any
magnesium for a while, possibly a week or two. Found the magnesium orotate
bottle and started taking them again. Still various odd sensations in
different parts of my arm.

For a few months now there has been some tightness or contraction or something
on the left side of my spine, quite sore, that I did have a bit of treatment
for and feel I should follow up. I wondered whether that might be affecting
circulation to the other side of the spine. The sore spot is about level with
the arms. I even noticed a kind of twitch in the right foot, pretty much where
the reflexology points might be.

I too appreciated Brooks' article on magnesium, and have passed it on to my
health buddies.

I don't know what to blame for this new but painless sensation.

http://www.coconutresearchcenter.com/hwnl_4-4.htm tells about the benefits of
coconut water and its use both as oral rehydration and infusion. "Nature's
Gatorade, but better". Natural electrolytes. Very similar to composition of
blood. I used to be able to buy it in tins, but the shop doesn't seem to be
selling it any more - will have to search. Anyone know who is stocking it in
Western Australia?

I also have experienced leg cramps like Faith described during the nite when
taking large amounts of magnesium. I can take 200 mill without this happening
but anything beyond that causes the leg cramps. I have tried it both with and
without calcium. I wondered if you had any theories on why this happens. You
mentioned kelp. Does this balance something that excess magnesium needs?
