Dear Silverones,
The pH topic seems to be petering out, but I myself have only just
begun. It is a fascinating topic to me, with a wealth of info to explore,
not to mention the exploration of my own experience. I am getting pH paper,
and plan to measure my own urine and saliva.
Someone mentioned blood pH. There is a sleeper of a book I have called
Biobalance, by a Dr. Wiley, which I have only ever seen one place and may
be out of print by now. He used blood pH to test. There are machines at
hospitals that do...but it is spendy. I had it done...it was not helpful.
The machine has to be exactly calibrated...maybe this one was not. I am
however following one of Wiley's diets, which I determined through trial
and error. His theory is a bit too complex for this post, but interesting.
The pH institute also has a wealth of info that I have not sorted out,
with regards to all kinds of variables. The combination of high urine pH
with low salivia for instance, what each means, what to do about it.
And of course there are the books about alkalizing.
So, what I am leading up to here is...are there others out there as
interested as I am? I know we have one list member who works with Carey
Rheams' ideas. I am thinking of starting a pH list, where we could explore
this in depth, even discussing our readings and experiences on a daily
basis. If you are interested, please let me know. If there is enough
interest, I'll do it. I checked onelist and cannot find anything in that
realm already.
PLEASE PEM ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.
