Heidi, I came into this discussion rather late, but will try to address your concerns.
1) There are specially prepared homeopathics for Lyme that appear to work well. Please contact me OFF-list, as I don't know if the seller (not me) would want their name posted on a public forum. Everyone living with the dog should take the homeopathics too, because contrary to what many believe, Lyme is contagious. 2) Loss of tissue function-whether that tissue is nerve, muscle, etc.-is related to inadequate voltage. We are electrical and magnetic (electromagnetic) beings as well as biochemical. There's always an electromedical component that corresponds to the biochemical. I use a hand-held device to restore voltage. It has been used by its inventor, a medical doctor, to partially restore the vision of a girl found face-down in a swimming pool, as well as wake up and restore muscle function to a boy in an 8-month coma. It's not magic, it's all about restoring the current to the body. This device comes with an attachment for animals. Contact me off-list if you're interested. You could also try red lasers; a 635-nm beam is good for killing microbes and may sufficiently penetrate into the tissues. A safer, and 80% as effective, modality, is an LED device from Light Energy Company (Google them). Good luck. Nenah >We did take her yesterday. She's been a very active and healthy dog (no vaccines and >on a raw diet), and just laying there must be incredibly frustrating for >her. > >Heidi
