Actually, that isn't true. All carnivores like wolves, lions etc., tear the stomach out before dragging the prey off. This has been well documented by books written on wolves etc., I learnt this when I was on a raw feeding list. dee

See if you can get hold of a book titled 'Fit for Life'. I believe it was written by a husband and wife team but as I have lent my copy out I can't remember the name of the author. Apparently if one follows the guidelines one can't eat certain things together, eg; if you have potato you can't have bread. Things like that. It also gives the example of animals in the wild eating the stomach of their kill first due to the liquids and greens etc contained within before eating any of the meat. Diet is mainly fluids.....say, 80% fluids and only 10% solids, (as in meat etc). The animal thing is right though, if you take notice of their eating habits after a kill, they usually always go for the stomach before starting on the meat.
