Actually, that isn't true. All carnivores like wolves, lions etc., tear
the stomach out before dragging the prey off. This has been well
documented by books written on wolves etc., I learnt this when I was on
a raw feeding list. dee

Hi Leslie,
See if you can get hold of a book titled 'Fit for Life'. I believe it
was written by a husband and wife team but as I have lent my copy out
I can't remember the name of the author. Apparently if one follows
the guidelines one can't eat certain things together, eg; if you have
potato you can't have bread. Things like that. It also gives the
example of animals in the wild eating the stomach of their kill first
due to the liquids and greens etc contained within before eating any
of the meat. Diet is mainly fluids.....say, 80% fluids and only 10%
solids, (as in meat etc). The animal thing is right though, if you
take notice of their eating habits after a kill, they usually always
go for the stomach before starting on the meat.
Don't know if this is any help at all, good luck.
Neville.
