I am thinking that Ed McCabe says that the big advantage of fresh foods
over cooked is that the enzymes in the fresh fruits and vegs allow the
production of H202 in the body.  And it is this that accounts for their
superior effects.  I may not have that just right and if I can find the info
in his (big) book, I will quote it.  Sorry to be so hazy on this, but so
