That I don't know. I don't spread it that thick cause it works pretty well. 
Never has hurt grass or any bugs in the soil. Just ticks and fleas hate it. But 
I never thought about ph levels. I live in the woods with fescue shade grass 
mostly. I throw it before a soft rain, not a down pour, so it will stay in the 
ground, not wash off the mountain. That's about all I know about it. I always 
had horses who ate the grass, and deer too. Didn't want to poison them.

How does the sulfur granules effect the soil PH?  I have used Sulfur in the 
garden to raise the PH.  We don't have a tick problem but fleas feast in our
